I believe there is an opportunity within the crisis to truly build the agricultural industry in Haiti, for which there is extreme potential.
With the number of internally displaced families relocated to rural regions of Haiti, it's the perfect opportunity to help provide the supplies and materials for those individuals to invest in crops in the area. There's also the opportunity to address famine through food production, because rural areas are blocked off from the main routes through which food was typically transported.
