But you can influence the Colombian government, which is violating human rights as stated in the United Nations report. The human rights commissioner mentioned violations by the Colombian government. We are reporting violations that are being carried out by a government that has the duty to protect Colombian citizens.
You mention the sale of goods; over four million people were displaced and they have no right to sell the goods they could produce. They cannot produce now because their land is in the hands of the paramilitary groups who have not been demobilized. They still exist and they are occupying their land.
