Good day, Mr. Chairman. It will surely come as no surprise to you that I would like you to call a vote on the motion brought forward by our colleague Dominic Leblanc, so that we can move on with our work. As you know, pursuant to our standing orders, when a ruling by the chair is appealed, a vote is automatically held and the question is not open for debate. You yourself have invoked the standing orders on occasion in the case of amendments to bills. I would imagine that there have not been any changes recently to the standing orders. I think all members want to resume this study, but they also want to abide by the standing orders. Therefore, I would like you to call immediately a recorded division on this motion.
