I guess I would back up a step and say that, again, speaking a bit for transgendered people, most do not feel that they have a medical disability. They do not feel there's anything wrong with them. So the very listing of gender dysphoria as a medical disorder is very controversial in the transgendered community. It has some perverse advantages, I would say, in the Canadian medical system in that sometimes, in some provinces, it qualifies people for medical assistance with surgery.
