I would like to conclude by saying that what the Duplessis orphans are asking of this committee is not that complicated. It is straightforward, really: the ability to regain their dignity.

Madam Chair, we have high hopes for this victims bill of rights. We hope that these voiceless victims will have the opportunity to regain their dignity.
