Can you comment on the decision of the Supreme Court in the Burns-Rafay ruling, wherein Canada had to seek assurances from a foreign jurisdiction that an individual in Canada would not receive the death penalty, should they be convicted of the offence they committed in a foreign jurisdiction? A lot of time has passed since that decision, and it impacted that decision, of course.
How often has that ruling come into play with respect to requests for extradition from Canada, since that time?
