I have contacted certain witnesses, and in my riding, a number of them are on the agenda. One of the problems that certain witnesses seem to have is that the period between when they are invited and when they appear is so short that they do not have time to make the necessary adjustments. We should perhaps consider the fact that we sometimes miss out on hearing some witnesses because the timeline is too short.
