We can go much further in the act to ensure true accountability and find out where the money is going. The federal government has always provided and will always provide money to provincial governments for their education programs. Is this money really going to education? As you said earlier, the provincial government may decide to abolish a program, but it is not required to justify its decision. There must be some give-and-take, an exchange of good practices, which is not the case at the moment.
