You spoke a lot about transparency in your opening statement, and I agree that it is crucial for the CRA to be transparent with taxpayers. However, in 2024, it was the previous Liberal CRA minister who ordered the department to go on a witch hunt for whistle-blowers who exposed millions in incorrect refunds.
Can you speak to what your bill will do for transparency at the CRA and whether you think it will create a better culture of transparency at the CRA and with senior managers there?
