I know that in my own riding we've lost two police officers because they were shot with their own handguns.
The safety of police officers is a big picture; it's not just about registering long guns. That's not the answer to this. It's gun control.
As an Individual
It's controlling the criminals. That's what's going to win this.

That was really the reason for coming today. If there is some fallacy out there that counting guns will make it safer for women and police officers, I'm not of that opinion. I agree totally with redirecting the money and manpower to licensing, strong licensing. We're not here to say that isn't part of it; what I'm saying is that knowing whether he has 13 guns or one gun will not make you any safer.
