We've operated in a space where we've partnered with small and medium-sized businesses as they try to harden their technology and span that valley of death from discovery to commercialization. Having access to systems like DIANA to attract new innovation into a testing lab, a validation lab, like the one we use at our institution is pretty important to our fiscal health, to being able to support ourselves as an organization. The defence space is an area in the Canadian landscape that we need to be able to tap into. Our ecosystem is just that; it's a place for SMEs to come to validate their technologies.
