The Liberals often use the term “buy Canadian” as an empty slogan, but their so-called buy Canadian policy does not appear to guarantee that Canadian defence dollars will primarily support Canadian citizens, Canadian engineers, Canadian manufacturing jobs or Canadian-controlled IP.
Should a real buy Canadian defence policy require Canadian ownership, Canadian control and Canadian workers when national security is involved?
