With that, I would like to welcome our witnesses for this panel.
We are joined by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research, represented here by Chantal Marin-Comeau, vice-president, corporate services and transformation, and Paula Kirton, director general, investigator-initiated research.
Our second organization is the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council, represented here by Anne-Marie Thompson, vice-president, research grants and scholarships directorate, and Marcel Turcot, vice-president, strategic, corporate and public affairs.
Our third organization is the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council, represented here by Dr. Sylvie Lamoureux, chief operating officer and vice-president, research, and Dr. Tim Wilson, associate vice-president, research programs.
