The region I am from is Durham. It's east of Toronto. It's a GTA riding. We have a lot of South Asian communities and other communities moving in, and they often face language and cultural barriers when disclosing violence or accessing shelters.
Can you speak to this? In your research, how is housing insecurity compounded for immigrant and racialized women, specifically?
