As a registered nurse, I provided health care and helped fix the physical wounds of children and their mothers who had been subject to violence, but the work our witnesses do is just amazing. I don't know if I could do it. You are very brave, and we very much appreciate the work you do.
Mary Hannaburg, you mentioned earlier in your testimony that there are unmentionables that you wouldn't bring up here. I can't help but think that we really need to hear all of the horror in order for the government to take notice and take action to solve these problems. Are you willing to share any further?
