Ms. Franklin, women may have different reasons for accessing shelters, but many women share a similar story in their pathways from being in an unsafe situation to securing support for stable housing. From your experience in working alongside women and children fleeing gender-based violence, can you describe the experiences and challenges they face in their effort to secure safe and secure housing?
