Mr. Speaker, I rise on a point of order. The practice in the House is very clear that the mover or another minister acting in the name of the mover, and the seconder, need to be in the House of Commons. The Minister of Public Safety is not in the House right now.

I was informed that the Minister of Public Safety was leaving. The government House leader has seconded the motion.

The question is on Motion No. 48. Is it the pleasure of the House to adopt the motion?

Mr. Speaker, I rise on a point of order. I believe in the previous roll call the member for Brampton North voted and then left her seat and is no longer in the chamber. Therefore, her vote cannot be counted as part of that vote roll call.

Mr. Speaker, I was in my seat to hear the question. I stepped out momentarily to speak to somebody about the cover-up and then I came back and voted. I am not sure whether my vote had been counted, and I just want to confirm that with the table.

Mr. Speaker, a new day just started a few minutes ago. It is past midnight.

I want to give all my colleagues present the opportunity, by unanimous consent, to bring the voting to an end by adopting the following motion: That the House call on the Prime Minister to waive full solicitor-client privilege and all cabinet confidences to allow the member for Vancouver Granville to address events that occurred following January 14, 2019, including her time as minister of veterans affairs, her resignation from that position and her presentation to cabinet that followed.

I seek unanimous consent of the House to adopt this motion, which could bring to an end this series of votes in the early hours of this day.
