Madam Speaker, I look to you for some guidance in this place, particularly when it comes to certain activities in the House. I know that all of us have busy lives and often have to make phone calls or FaceTime calls. I would be interested to know, for the benefit of the Minister of Environment, whether it is permissible to make phone calls or FaceTime calls while in the chamber.

I am not aware that anybody is making any calls while they are in the chamber. However, if anyone is making any calls while they are in the chamber, they should actually exit the chamber.

The apology is accepted. However, I want to remind members, because ministers should know better. Almost everybody here in the House has been here for quite some time, and they certainly know the rules of the House. No phone calls are to be made.
