I declare Motion No. 27 carried.
The hon. member for Mégantic—L'Érable on a point of order.
Luc Berthold Conservative Mégantic—L'Érable, QC
Madam Speaker, there was some confusion at the beginning of the previous vote. It was not clear whose turn it was, the members in favour of the motion or the members opposed to the motion. The Prime Minister almost rose to vote against the previous motion.
I would like to offer the possibility of ending this marathon vote by unanimous consent. I move that the House adopt the following motion: that the House call on the Prime Minister to waive full solicitor-client privilege and all Cabinet confidences to allow the member for Vancouver Granville to address events that occurred following January 14, 2019, including her time as the Minister of Veterans Affairs, her resignation from that position, and her presentation to Cabinet that followed.
Agreeing to this motion would allow us to end the marathon vote currently being held in the House.
