Mr. Speaker, due to the disruption that the pandemic created in the construction sector, the timelines for the Memorial to the Victims of Communism—Canada, a Land of Refuge, had to be adjusted. The government understands the importance of this project and is making every effort to conclude this project in a timely manner. Construction is under way, and 2023 is targeted for the monument’s successful delivery.
