Mr. Speaker, I was chair of the ethics committee when we were holding Facebook to account. We challenged the then corporations and the platforms. Apple was one example, and it is often one of the best groups to self-police and to actually develop technology to best keep Canadians and kids safe.
Does the member think that instead of government, the platforms should be held more accountable for keeping kids safe?
