Madam Speaker, I do agree. I want the bill passed. I believe that, at the committee stage, it would be useful for Parliament to clarify the powers of the president as outlined in clause 17 and clause 19, the purview of those powers, to make sure there is clarity for the Canadian economy in the conduct of the proposed new preventative measures and the risk-based approach applied in Bill S-3.
