Madam Speaker, I have the utmost respect for my colleague. The words “responsibility” and “accountability” should be heard a lot more here in Parliament. As parliamentarians, we are taking action, representing taxpayers and managing public funds.
While people are struggling to put food on the table, the government is spending $200 million on a 25- by 35-foot concrete slab. That is unacceptable.
