Mr. Speaker, with its provisions reforming the Canada Labour Code, Bill C-39 does exactly the opposite. The Minister of Jobs will now have to take certain caveats into account to ensure that section 107 is only applied in specific situations. This is the very opposite of a ban on the right to strike. It is, in fact, a recognition of the constitutional right to strike in Canada.
