He said that no projects have gotten under way since the government came to power. In my region alone, however, Davie Canada started construction on the Polar Max icebreaker last spring. I was there when the first bolt was fastened.
An $11-billion contract for six icebreakers was also just announced. In my riding, a container ship project was just announced as well. Meetings have already been held.
I would like to know where this information that there have been no projects comes from. Would my colleague like to rephrase his response a little, based on Bill C‑39 and the projects ahead?
