Mr. Speaker, I thank my colleague for his great speech. A lot of his speech was about farmers. Farmers are generally bound by the price they can sell their products for, because of the market. The cost of doing business is something that we, as the Canadian government, can control.
Can my colleague explain a bit about what has happened over the last 20 years in the beef industry that now causes beef prices to be so high?
