Mr. Speaker, our farmers are struggling. When their operating costs skyrocket, it is families who end up footing the bill at the grocery store. This morning, I was talking to egg farmer Bruno Gosselin from Œufs d'Orléans. He told me that his diesel bill has gone up 62% this year. Mr. Gosselin told me that nothing was really being done to improve their lives and that the governments were washing their hands of the matter.
When will the Prime Minister stop jet-setting and start adopting our Conservative plan to reduce diesel taxes and lower operating costs for farmers like Mr. Gosselin?
