Mr. Speaker, the government has a responsibility to protect Canadians' democracy and sovereignty. We now know that Republican operatives are working with Alberta separatists to break up our country. Albertans have also had their personal data stolen and are being targeted by extremist foreign actors from the U.S. and Russia. This is threatening public trust in our democratic institutions.
What exactly is the government doing to stop foreign actors from interfering in our democratic processes and to protect Albertans and Canadians from these threats?
