Mr. Speaker, as my colleague knows, the idea of the excise tax exemption is in good part to provide affordability for Canadians. It is all part of a bigger package that the government has brought forward.
I am wondering if he could expand on why it is important that we bring in affordability measures such as this to support Canadians.
