Mr. Speaker, on this side of the House, we are going to continue to focus on affordability. We cut taxes for 22 million Canadians. We just paused the federal fuel excise tax, saving Canadians 10¢ a litre when they fill up. If we combine that with the consumer carbon tax, it is 28¢ in savings.
Yesterday, Canadians received their groceries and essentials benefit. That benefit will lift 77,000 Canadians out of poverty.
