Mr. Speaker, I completely agree with my colleague. This is the type of leadership Canada needs today. We have the resources, workers and businesses needed to build a stronger economy. Bill C‑39 gives us the tools to move projects forward more quickly, attract investment and strengthen our supply chains, all without compromising our environmental standards or our commitments to indigenous peoples. We can protect the environment and create jobs, and we must do both.
