Mr. Speaker, this Thanksgiving weekend, I am proud to recognize the Norwood Fall Fair, a cherished tradition that has brought our community together since 1868.
For generations, the fair has celebrated the hard work, talents and community spirit at the heart of rural Ontario. Through its agriculture exhibits, livestock competitions, homecraft displays, local entertainment and parade, it offers a warm reminder of all that makes our region so special.
This beloved tradition continues because of the dedication and generosity of the volunteers, organizers, exhibitors, sponsors and families who give their time and care throughout the year. To everyone who helps make the fair possible, I thank them for the unwavering commitment, pride and kindness they bring to our community.
I warmly invite everyone to join us this weekend in Norwood. May it become a time to reconnect with neighbours, honour our agricultural heritage and create lasting memories together. I wish everyone a happy Thanksgiving and a wonderful Norwood Fall Fair.
