Mr. Speaker, I also rise to present a petition concerning airport rescue. When an aircraft emergency happens, every second counts. The petitioners are calling on the Government of Canada to strengthen airport firefighting standards by ensuring adequate staffing, faster response times, better passenger rescue capabilities, and the public reporting of the differences between Canadian and international standards. Passenger safety must always come first.
