Mr. Speaker, the second petition I present is on behalf of 85 constituents concerning Canada's immigration system. They express concerns about immigration processing delays and recent changes to immigration policies, emphasizing the importance of fairness, dignity and inclusion.
They are calling on the government to increase resources for IRCC and CBSA, maintain or increase immigration levels, and strengthen the interim federal health program. They also call for a special pathway to permanent residency for Ukrainians who arrived under the CUAET program and urge everyone to avoid rhetoric that unfairly blames immigrants for Canada's housing challenges.
