Madam Speaker, as I already said at the start of my speech, or during a question a while ago, this bill has two components. I had hoped that we could hold separate votes, I mean, that we could divide the vote at second reading stage.
Following our work in committee, we could have considered whether to request that the bill be divided and that separate votes be held. At this stage, I would like the Conservatives to consider the possibility of holding two votes at second reading stage.
