Mr. Speaker, the member wants to know why we oppose this agency. He should look at the Liberal record. Fighter jets took decades and are still not settled. The Snowbirds are grounded until the 2030s.
Canada is known for a lot of things. We are not known for success in Liberal defence procurement. The Defence Investment Agency has been operating for over a year, with signing ceremonies and preferred partner announcements, but not a single new piece of equipment has been delivered to the Canadian Armed Forces.
