Mr. Speaker, I talked a little about the agreement that John Horgan, Justin Trudeau and the former minister concluded. It was for over $26 billion, over a 10-year period, to solve the very basic problem of not being able to access health records in another province. I asked the former minister what was still blocking that. It is not for a lack of money or a lack of consensus. It is implementation.
The member can say, “We're all about interoperability. We're all about data privacy and sharing of information.” That is great. I can say bravo. Good on them. However, if it does not happen, if that minister is pulling a lever that goes nowhere, it is all talk. That is a point that the Liberal government could probably learn from.
