Madam Speaker, I was expecting a question along those lines. My colleague did not hear my speech, but I made it very clear that any provinces and territories that already have their own regulations will not have to opt out of Bill S-5. The federal government will not interfere with the delivery of health care services by the provinces and territories. The law is complementary, applying only in cases where a province or territory does not already have comparable legislation. At present, Quebec and Ontario already have their own legislation in place.
