Mr. Speaker, of course, we are all very proud to wear a poppy, while remembering those who served our country during times of war and those who continue to serve. I would like to acknowledge the people of Gatineau, many of whom work for the Department of National Defence or serve in the Canadian Armed Forces with pride and distinction. I will definitely be attending the Remembrance Day ceremonies in my riding of Gatineau on Sunday. The Norris and Pointe-Gatineau branches of the Royal Canadian Legion will both be holding dignified ceremonies, as they do every year, and I will be proud to attend.
This afternoon we will continue with second reading debate of Bill S-5, the connected care for Canadians act, and as all hon. members know, at 4 p.m., which is very soon, the Minister of Finance and National Revenue will deliver the budget speech. Tomorrow we will resume debate on the budget.
On the Monday following the constituency week, we will resume consideration at second reading of Bill C-41, the medical assistance in dying safeguards act. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday of that week will be spent examining the budget.
