Budget 2025 saw the Liberals impose a 5% target, $81 billion, and now the government is promoting its defence procurement strategy as a way to turn Canada into a major arms exporter. This exposes Canada to further undermining international arms trade commitments through existing loopholes without scrutiny.
Will the Prime Minister admit that this new direction demands accountability and commit to a full parliamentary review of Canada's arms export policy?
