Mr. Speaker, when folks in my riding of Hamilton Centre go to the gas station to fill up their cars, they will notice a difference at the pump. Yesterday, the temporary suspension of the federal fuel excise tax came into effect, saving the average Canadian family 10ยข per litre on regular gasoline. This is just one way Canada's new government is making life more affordable.
Can the secretary of state update us on this and other measures designed to put more money in the pockets of Canadians?
