Savoura pays $2.5 million a year in carbon tax and in Éco Entreprises Québec penalties. These surcharges make it difficult to compete with tomatoes from Mexico, which travel across the entire continent.
Instead of creating a new band-aid for businesses, why not streamline the regulations and give our business owners some real breathing room?
