Mr. Speaker, I have to note that in the Senate, the Senate committee studied Bill C-9 extensively, and I noted that there were witnesses from every background, whether they were from the LGBT community or from a faith community. I saw a Black pastor also. Every single one of these witnesses said that removing the good-faith exemption would be a big mistake. Every witness concurred, and this has nothing to do with race, racism or discrimination.
Is my friend across the way saying that all of these witnesses from these diverse backgrounds were false in this conclusion?
