Mr. Speaker, I thank my colleague from Brome—Missisquoi for that excellent question.
As we know, affordability means economic security, income, employment, food security, and healthy food to eat. These are all key determinants of health that enable Canadians to be productive and enjoy life. This is what I saw every day in my office. Our job is not just to heal all ills. We must also advocate for quality of life, and that starts by looking at the key determinants of health, economic security being probably the most fundamental one.
I am very pleased to say that my government is constantly thinking about this issue.
