Madam Speaker, I think it is important to recognize that there is not just one area in which the government is giving support to Canadians but a multitude of different areas. For example, when we think of seniors, we can think of the benefits. I highlighted, for example, the dental program. I can highlight dialysis. Many seniors receive dialysis. We can talk about the seniors over age 75 who received a substantial increase over and above what would have been the guaranteed annual increase.
Many seniors continue to drive. A senior over the age of 90 can still be driving, and they too will get breaks. There are individuals using buses. Everyone benefits from that 10ยข-a-litre drop, which has an impact on fares. Directly and indirectly, there are tangible supports for seniors in many different ways.
