Mr. Speaker, after a decade of Liberal policies and taxes, Canadians are falling further and further behind.
Recently, I heard from Jeff, who wrote to say, “The taxes I pay are completely out of hand. Canadians now pay more in taxes than we do in housing and groceries. I have never worked so much overtime and had so little money. I am spending less time with my family and keep working more and more just trying to keep bills paid.”
Conservatives have a plan. We have identified savings of over $150 billion. That is nearly $10,000 per Canadian family. These savings would cut wasteful bureaucracy, handouts to fake asylum claimants and corporate welfare. Our plan would also scrap all taxes on gas until at least Canada Day of next year, saving Canadians money on gas and groceries. Our Conservative plan would save money for Canadians.
