Mr. Speaker, I want to talk about a local success story that is crossing borders and making us very proud.
Vague de Cirque is a company based in Val‑David that has been imagining and creating shows for 15 years now. Its show Là haut premiered in my riding at the Sentier des cimes in Mont-Blanc, and it was so successful that the German owners of Sentier des cimes decided to import that Quebec know-how across the Atlantic Ocean. This summer, the Vague de Cirque team flew to Usedom to put on a production specially designed around the island's 33‑metre observation tower, offering a unique view of the Baltic Sea.
We have talent, creativity and audacity in spades. When a creation born in the Laurentians becomes a model that is exported all the way to Germany, all of Quebec's cultural know-how is on display.
