Privilege December 6th, 2024

Mr. Speaker, to the point of order, I think what is important is that it was not passive. It was illegal. They targeted one of the members of Parliament. Some of those moronic thugs went right outside her door and protested. They were in there illegally. There was nothing passive about it. I heard more than 15 people were arrested and banned for five years from the precinct. That is what happens when something illegal is done.

The New Democrats helped them too.

Madam Speaker, it is all about the pension. Next week, the NDP leader will be forced to vote on his own words, the ultimate test of who he is as a leader. Does he mean it or not? When he said he ripped up the supply agreement, it was just a stunt before a by-election. The NDP leader gets his pension. The Prime Minister gets his power. Canadians get the bill.

It is time to call a carbon tax election, stop the charade, end the games and call the election now.

Madam Speaker, the government has killed small business, and it is all about the pension when it comes to the NDP.

Next week, the NDP leader will be forced to vote on his own words. It will be the ultimate test of who he is. Does he mean what he says or are his words meaningless? He said he was ripping up the supply and confidence deal. We know it was a stunt before a by-election. The NDP leader gets his pension, the Prime Minister gets his power and Canadians get the bill.

Stop the charade, end the games and call a carbon tax election now.

Carbon Pricing December 6th, 2024

Madam Speaker, the Prime Minister and his new BFF, the Maserati Marxist, have never been more out of touch. Their punishing carbon tax makes gas, groceries and heating more expensive. The carbon tax coalition has doubled housing costs, doubled rent, doubled mortgage payments and doubled the down payment for a home. Workers cannot afford to pay their rent or mortgage, and Canadians are out of money.

When will the Prime Minister call a carbon tax election so we can axe the tax for good?

Carbon Pricing December 5th, 2024

Mr. Speaker, not a single plate of food has been served, and 1.4 million Canadian children are living in poverty. The rise in the cost of food is a direct result of the carbon tax. The Prime Minister does not understand that if they tax the farmer who grows the food and the trucker who ships it, they end up taxing the family that buys it. Already the NDP-Liberal carbon tax has resulted in food prices increasing 36% faster in Canada than across the border.

Will the Prime Minister finally give Canadians the carbon tax election now?

Carbon Pricing December 5th, 2024

Mr. Speaker, under the Prime Minister, New Brunswickers continue to struggle and will now have to pay $800 more for food next year. After nine years, the NDP-Liberal carbon tax has caused the price of groceries to skyrocket. According to Food Banks Canada, the number of people accessing food banks has increased by 73% in the last two years. Over a million Ontarians are relying on food banks; that is more people than live in my home province. Canadians deserve better.

Will the Prime Minister agree that now is the time to call a carbon tax election?

Privilege December 4th, 2024

Madam Speaker, clearly there are a lot of triggered people in the House this week. I saw NDP members swarming one of my colleague's desks the other night as I left here, making people very uncomfortable; it was very aggressive.

The truth is, I feel bad that I mentioned the way somebody voted. I did not know that was a big deal. I can gladly apologize for something like that, of course. However, my point here is that NDP members are so triggered because they are basically propping up the most inept, scandalous government in the history of this country. They are the reason there is no election. They are the reason that the hurt continues for Canadians. It is always them propping up the government.

Members would not believe the things that the members over there call us members over here. I would not even repeat those words. I have big shoulders, and we have big shoulders over here. Do members know why? It is because we are making decisions that matter for Canadians, and they are over there crying and whining in the corner like a bunch of little babies.

Privilege December 4th, 2024

Madam Speaker, I withdraw and apologize, but I do not apologize for what he did though.
