Mr. Speaker, I withdraw the comment and I apologize.
I would like to inform the leader of the Bloc Québécois that the Conservative Party of Canada voted in favour of this bill. We care about the well-being of seniors. In the leader's speech, he said he wanted to know more about the Conservative Party of Canada's election platform. We also look forward to unveiling our election platform. For now, it is important to understand what has happened over the past few months. The Liberals have caught on to some of our party's actions, intentions and desires and, unfortunately, they ran with them.
I simply want to know what is going to happen on October 30, the day before Halloween. Will Canadians be headed towards an election? The Bloc Québécois has issued an ultimatum, but it does not have the power or the legitimacy it needs. Could my colleague comment on that?

Mr. Speaker, I am glad to see the leader of the Bloc Québécois in the House today. That does not happen often.
Bloc Québécois September 24th, 2024
Mr. Speaker, today we are moving a non-confidence motion to stop Canada from being destroyed by this Liberal minority government that has been in place for far too long.
First, the NDP kept this government on life support, and now it is the Bloc Québécois' turn. That party goes around telling everyone that they are the defenders of Quebec, yet François Legault, the Premier of Quebec, the person who speaks on behalf of Quebeckers, is asking the Bloc to bring down this incompetent government.
Why say one thing and do the opposite? Instead of aiding and abetting the Liberals, the Bloc Québécois should be defending Quebeckers. For example, the Bloc Québécois is a very bad negotiator. It could not even get the caribou order revoked.
The Bloc Québécois is selling its soul to this Liberal government without getting anything for Quebeckers in return. What is the Bloc Québécois good for, anyway? The Bloc Québécois voted to spend more money and double the size of the government. All this was done in the midst of multiple scandals and paid for with Quebeckers' money, our money.
What is the Bloc Québécois good for? One thing is for sure: It is not good for Quebeckers.
Bloc Québécois September 17th, 2024
Mr. Speaker, Quebeckers are still wondering what the Bloc Québécois is good for. The Bloc Québécois voted with the Liberal Prime Minister nearly 200 times, keeping Canada's most centralist government ever in power. Giving the Liberal Prime Minister a blank cheque does not benefit Quebeckers in the slightest. The Bloc Québécois's inconsistency is blatantly obvious here in Ottawa. It says one thing and does another. It says it wants to stop sending money to Ottawa, but it voted in favour of more than $500 billion in inflationary spending by this Liberal Prime Minister. The “Liberal Bloc” voted in favour of adding 100,000 new public servants to the payroll while bringing about no improvement in Canadians' day-to-day lives. There is more spending than ever, more public servants than ever, more scandals than ever, all being paid for with Quebec's money, our money.
Who is the Bloc Québécois good for? It is good for the Liberal Prime Minister. What is the Bloc Québécois good for? Unfortunately, it is not good for Quebeckers.
The only party that can stand up for Quebeckers is the Conservative Party of Canada, the party of common sense.

Health June 13th, 2024
Mr. Speaker, it is unfortunate that the Minister of Health does not realize that after nine years, there is a major, historic crisis caused by the lack of family doctors in Canada.
Increasing the capital gains tax will have an impact on the economy and the quality of life of Canadians. In the midst of this challenging economic chaos they have created, the Liberals decide to tax capital gains even more. Supposedly, they want to make the rich pay. This is a tax cover-up and it will have a major impact. As a result of the exodus, the list of Canadians without a doctor will grow, not shrink. In Quebec, there are already 2.3 million people without a family doctor.
What does the Minister of Health say in response—
Petitions June 12th, 2024
Madam Speaker, the mission of the Fédération québécoise des chasseurs et pêcheurs is to represent and defend the interests of Quebec hunters and fishers.
I would like to commend its president, Marc Renaud, and Mathieu Martin, the sponsor of petition e‑4831, which was signed by nearly 6,000 people who are calling on the government to authorize striped bass fishing in the St. Lawrence and the Saguenay River to ensure the survival of various species. The reason is simple. The reintroduction of the striped bass was successful and its population in the seaway and the Saguenay river is now abundant and stable. Allowing this species to be fished will contribute to biodiversity conservation, which is essential.
As a small reminder, hunters are not criminals. The government is off the mark.
Carbon Pricing June 6th, 2024
Mr. Speaker, the Liberal cover-up is in full swing, and I have another example that proves it. The Parliamentary Budget Officer very clearly stated at the Standing Committee on Finance that the government has its own economic analysis of the carbon tax's impact, but he was told not to release it and not to refer to it. Worse still, the Bloc Québécois is dancing with the Liberals. It voted against our proposal to give Quebeckers some tax relief for their vacations.
When will the Prime Minister release his secret report on the carbon tax so that Canadians can know the truth?
Official Languages June 3rd, 2024
Mr. Speaker, first, the member for Saint-Laurent denied the decline of French in Quebec. Then, a Franco-Ontarian member said that witnesses who appeared before the Standing Committee on Official Languages were full of you-know-what. Now, the Quebec member for Alfred-Pellan is saying that, in order to be stronger, Quebec should be bilingual.
We are now seeing the Liberal caucus's true colours. The Liberals have neither the desire, nor the intention to protect French and stop its decline.
Will the Prime Minister act now to support French in Quebec and call his members to order?
