National Defence committee  One of the things, for example in the States, is that being in a recruiting unit is not somebody's career death sentence. Being in a recruiting unit is not seen the same way, so that can be something that we can learn from. It does not follow that the U.S. military, being the largest in the world, is not having recruiting challenges, so that's not the issue.

National Defence committee  Good afternoon. It is my privilege to provide my perspective to inform the committee's study on recruitment and retention in the Canadian Armed Forces.
